The Role
Position Overview
Trinova Medical is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to support our providers and ensure an excellent experience for every patient. Professionalism and strong communication are essential to this role, and we place a high value on both. We prefer candidates with prior experience in a primary care setting; however, we provide training in all procedures performed in the office to ensure confidence and competency of our staff.
Requirements
Qualifications
• Prior clinical experience, ideally in a primary care or internal medicine setting, is strongly preferred
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) strongly preferred
• A professional, courteous demeanor and excellent verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy clinic
• Reliability, attention to detail, and a collaborative, team-oriented approach
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Candidates without clinical experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis
Day-to-Day
Responsibilities
• Room patients and obtain and document vital signs
• Perform injections, EKGs, spirometry, ear lavages, and urinalysis
• Schedule follow-up appointments and support efficient clinic flow
• Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, families, and the care team
Compensation
Compensation & Benefits
• Competitive pay: $19–$21 per hour, commensurate with experience
